60 minute session
A little introduction to SQL Server Big Data Clusters
In this session, attendees are introduced to SQL Server Big Data Clusters and the role this technology plays in modern data architectures. The focus is on creating a central data platform in which various data sources come together and can be analysed in combination.
Based on the architecture and underlying technologies, such as containers and orchestration, insight is given into how SQL Server Big Data Clusters enable scalability and flexibility. In addition, we take a practical look at accessing and analysing data through, among other things, external tables and Spark integrations.
